Guy Lane is Townsville's sustainability consultant, trading as SEA O2 since 2002. Since leaving the petroleum exploration industry in 1991, he has studied a degree in Environmental Science with Honours in Environmental Policy and Economics. Guy invented My Clean Sky in December 2006 and launched the service in April, 2009.

"I love the biosphere, but sometimes I need to fly," he says, "carbon offset offers a way to buy some time for the planet while the global aviation industry gets its house in order and develops sustainable aviation technology and practices."

The son of one Europe's leading Systems Analysts, Luis ran away to sea and spent 15 years in the Dive Charter Industry before he finally succummed to the allure of bits and bytes. Besides creating sophisticated Internet portals, Luis is also actively involved in promoting technologies and practices consistent with a Sustainable Future. He promotes these ideas through the Cyberfactory website.
