This is the story of Lala, a small island in Fiji that is home to endangered sea birds, marine turtles and coconut crabs.

Following your introduction of the new carbon offsetting tools under the My Clean Sky program we decided to commit our company to offset all its air travel carbon emissions by using the online tool on your website.
We will commence this with immediate effect and appreciate your use of locally produced and managed carbon credits.
Our company's emissions are comparatively small but we hope that our action can encourage other SME's to make similar commitments.

My name is Jessica Dolphin and I am an impartial representative of the interests of the dolphins who live in Cleveland Bay, a total population of around three hundred.
The three species of dolphin in Cleveland Bay that I impartially represent include the cute, demure Snub-fin Dolphins (of which I am one), those annoying show-ponies the Bottle-nosed Dolphins, and the frumpy Indo-pacific Humpback Dolphins.
Because dolphins appear to be smiling, humans often assume that we are always happy. But being dolphin is a dog's life, if you will excuse the pun. And I should know, I am one.
You may think that its all fun and blowing bubbles for the dolphins who live in Cleveland Bay, but let me tell you since the white-fella showed up and started tampering with the environment, its been a struggle. The water quality has got worse with all the run-off from the farms and the city. And the food supply has dried up because of those dang fishermen. We are constantly in danger of being run over by ferries, tinnies and jet skies, snared in shark nets and choked to death on bits of plastic. Plus, it is so damn noisy in the bay that we can barely hear ourselves echo-locate. They say that there is a special bond between dolphins and humans – my cloaca there is – not in Cleveland Bay anyway.
Now we hear that climate change – caused by you humans - is hotting up and ecosystems all around the world are under threat. Hello. intelligent beings! We are in the tropics – we don't need it any hotter. If the climate change story is true, we are going to end up like the Snub-fins of Ellis Beach, Cairns – all dead .
The only upside is that if the sea level rises, and assuming there are any dolphins left, we will be chasing cuttlefish around the furniture on the Strand by the year 2050. It is so exasperating that you guys get the credit for being the ‘intelligent species'.
Given this dire predicament, we welcome any attempt to mitigate impact of climate change. The My Clean Sky carbon offset service should taken up by everyone who flies out of Townsville. And to the extent that this will help to reduce the net concentration of carbon di-oxide in the atmosphere and slow down climate change, it is welcomed by the Townsville Dolphins.

Beneath Hill 60 is a Feature Film project set to be filmed entirely on location in Townsville. Its gripping true story, based on the WWI of Australia, Captain Oliver Woodward pays homage to the Australians who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their young nation.
The creative team and most of the Heads of Department in the crew, as well as Principal cast members are from Sydney, where the project was developed will need to travel to Townsville for the stages of Pre Production and Production (film shoot).
This means we will be travelling a lot by air.
It is wonderful to be able to reduce our carbon footprint with Beneath Hill 60 by joining My Clean Sky and offsetting all our carbon emissions from air travel.

Osmans Turkish themed cuisine restaurant in Townsville are proud to have a low carbon footprint due to our use of renewable energy sources including wood and charcoal, and low carbon fossil fuels such as LPG gas.

Reef Lodge backpackers provides a quality accommodation service for the budget travellers. Many of our guests visit this region specifically to see the Great Barrier Reef , a global environmental icon that is greatly threatened by global warming.
As most of our guests fly to and from Australia, the carbon footprint of their holiday is quite high and thus indirectly contributes to the threat to the Great Barrier Reef .
